1. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction MBSR: Combat Negative Thoughts Through MBSR
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course has been created to give those who suffer from stress, whether constantly or occasionally, the tools to combat negative thoughts and turn the mind into a weapon of positivity that will help you to reclaim your life.
The course does this through giving you both the knowledge of how and why certain techniques work along with how to do them and incorporate them easily into your daily routine.
We all suffer from stress and anxiety at times in our lives. For some, this is a fleeting condition that comes and goes with particular life events for others it is a daily struggle whose affects can be debilitating and hard to overcome; building up until even usually insignificant things can seem impossible to get through. No matter how often you feel the affects of stress and how powerfully, stress is a state of mind, which, left unchecked, can quickly turn into a physical condition.
The course gives students an in-depth look into what Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is. This includes information on its origins and the practice of mindfulness, deep breathing, and meditation and their affects on the mind and body. Students are invited to practice mindfulness following exercises.
2. Mindful Mental Health: Practice The State Of Mindfulness
The Mindful Mental Health Course takes a specific look at how the practice of mindfulness can be used alongside other medical treatments and lifestyle changes to help sufferers of various mental health disorders.
The course starts by explaining the physiology of the mind and the definition of mental health and well-being, how and why issues arise, and how they are currently treated. The practice of mindfulness is then introduced; giving the history and theory behind the practical aspects of this type of self-help process, as well as why it is important to treat mental health problems in a holistic way, along with discussing how physical health and mental well-being are linked.
From this solid base, the course moves into teaching the basic first steps to mindfulness for mental health and progresses onwards, to talk about various mental health problems and how mindfulness can be used in each step of treatment: coping, recovery and long term management.
The Mindful Mental Health Course concludes by teaching the importance and methods used to obtain a state of mindful awareness; aiding sufferer’s ability to really know their mind and recognise destructive thoughts and patterns that exacerbate mental health problems and how to overcome these obstacles.
3. Mindfulness Based CBT: Learn How Mindfulness Based CBT Can Improve Your Life
MBCT is based on the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) eight week program, developed by Jon Kabat Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Research shows that MBSR is enormously empowering for patients with chronic pain, hypertension, heart disease, cancer, and gastrointestinal disorders, as well as for psychological problems such as anxiety and panic.
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy grew from this work. The MBSR program has been adapted so it can be used especially with people who have suffered repeated bouts of depression in their lives.
Mindfulness is a modern concept, which describes the adoption of a new mindset, which can measurably alter ones outlook and mood and is used as an empowering tool in the self management of anxiety and stress. Many businesses and individuals are introducing powerful Mindfulness techniques into their daily routines to help relieve stress in the work place and to keep a positive outlook and to help adopt a more productive approach in life.
4. Mindfulness for Children: Equip Your Child With The Tools And Benefits Of Mindfulness
Mindfulness is often thought of as something that is used only by adults; in particular, to help with stress, anxiety, and depression. This course aims to help children to benefit from practising mindfulness and arm them with techniques that will help them to handle negative emotions better, and give them tools that they can use throughout their lives.
The Mindfulness for Children Course discusses stress. This includes: the symptoms of stress, the factors that can contribute to a child becoming stressed, why stress exists, and the effects on the brain. We then explain how mindfulness can help counteract these effects and simple ways that it can be brought into the daily routine of a child as easily it can be in an adult’s life, with similar positive effects.
You will learn what mindfulness and mediation are, along with how they are different, how a child can practice both, and what the benefits of each are. We give practical meditation exercises and a list of other simple, one-minute exercises, which are ideal for children to practice.
5. Mindful Nutrition: Learn About Healthy, Clean And Mindful Eating
In the Western world we have lost control. We generally grow up richer, with more possessions than the human race has ever seen, we don’t usually go hungry and we have developed a culture of instant gratification.
No longer do we eat in response to just our real hunger – our emotions, habits and behaviours and the addictive properties that are now added to everyday foods play a huge part in our mindless eating.
Whether you have been yo-yo dieting for most of your life, are interested in learning about clean eating or want to help others to get off the dieting bandwagon, Mindful Nutrition is the course for you!
There is an overwhelming link between our minds, our bodies and the food in which we eat. Yet without education and stillness of thought we barely recognise the connection.
We rush into each day, eat over processed foods and worry about our weight and body image. Every town is filled with fatty foods, temptation and every supermarket aisle filled with foods that are harming our body, mood and mental health.
6. Meditation: Refocus And Reach Your True Potential Through Meditation
How often do you truly relax and feel a state of calmness - free from wandering thoughts and the stresses of everyday life? Even when you do have some time spare, do you use that time proactively to relax? Spending just 20 minutes a day meditating can have a dramatic effect on your physical, psychological and even spiritual health – enabling you to refocus and reach your true potential. With 13 modules and 10 videos, the Meditation Course shows you how.
Studying the course, you’ll explore what meditation is and is not, and how it can still your inner dialogue, help you to get in touch with your emotions and handle negative thoughts and behaviours with positivity and efficiently. You’ll discover all the ways meditating can benefit you. The course covers the physical benefits such as decreasing muscle tension and reducing anxiety, psychological benefits like building self-confidence and increasing productivity, and even the benefits to spiritual development such as increased awareness and a deeper understanding of the self.
7. Positive Psychology: Learn Take A Mindful Or Spiritual Approach To Our Lives
Some of us prefer to take a mindful or spiritual approach to our lives and the problems in it, while others find a practical, logical method works better.
The Positive Psychology Certificate Course marries together studies of happiness in both science and nature, to provide students with the knowledge of how to find true happiness and contentment. If you let it, this course will help you to change your life.
The expectations that society puts on us, and the human condition itself, bring about many obstructions in the pursuit of happiness. The Positive Psychology Certificate Course explores happiness and the effects modern society have on happiness, as well as how to cope with these environmental factors.
From brain cells to physiology, we discuss the science behind both happiness and sadness. Happiness is about understanding yourself, and a large part of that is based in neuroscience. The course’s second module aids students in understanding the physical, biological changes that occur in our brains on a daily basis, as we feel different things.
8. Psychology of Success: Learn How To Find Success In Your Own Life
The Psychology of Success Certificate Course talks of everything that successful people have learned in order to get where they are. It also talks about success itself and explores why society, may have different ideas of what you need in order to be truly happy.
You will learn how to find success in your own life, along with how to set yourself up as a coach, and help others identify, work towards and achieving their own potential.
What is different about successful people, who seem to manage to succeed in everything that they do, whilst others struggle and eventually give up? Successful people have learned certain habits and have an approach that propels them forward to get to their own perfect place, life or environment.
The Psychology of Success Certificate Course starts by looking at the definition of success and how this is different for each individual. The course then looks at how society conditions us to think of success, along with how to break the hold that this conditioning has on us.
