The Science of Color
This is due to the fact that color is not a physical entity. Light wavelengths that bounce off an item form color. It's not just that you can't see color when there's no light. It's because it doesn't exist. Because we are designers, not scientists, this course will not go into great detail about the science. In a nutshell, color is built up of light wavelengths.

Chapter 2: The Color Wheel
There are a variety of color systems that have been developed as tools to aid in the manipulation of colors. The most prevalent color system, the 12-part color system, is the one you'll focus on here. The standard color wheel is another name for it. This tool was created by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, despite the fact that it is frequently credited to others.
